Video assistance for people having visual deficiencies The service of Video assistance brings remote assistance to people having visual deficiencies. The person partially sighted, provided with a mobile videophone, calls a teleassistant and shows him on line the problematic situation. The teleassistant can so help him because he sees what the user makes or what he has behind himself. Teleassistants lend their eyes to help users in every day life (dressing up, reading of mail, etc). How does it work? The partially sighted person buys the most suitable phone (IP videophone , wireless webcam , 3G mobile…) and subscribe to IVèS' service. In a very easy way he can call a teleassistant, who is especially formed in guiding partially sighted people, and ask him help. IVèS is partner of Accescités and participates to the "Autonomie" project
